Our Pastor's Welcome

In clicking onto this website
you have entered a spiritual community
on the Upper West Side of Manhattan
humbly gathered around sacred scripture,
worshiping one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
praying for a knowledge of God’s will
and the power to carry that out;
a community in particular relationship
to the Presbytery of New York City
of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.),
partnering to provide services in our neighborhood,
supporting humanitarian efforts locally and around the world,
working with congregations of various denominations and faiths.

We include
—total newcomers to organized religion in any form,
—explorers of all things spiritual,
—those seeking a community expression for their spiritual life,
—people for whom the congregation becomes a family,
—people who drop by from time to time.
Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey,
we might be where you belong . . . for now . . .
We hope that you will find a spiritual home among us.
